Opus One Winery, established in 1978, is the result of a visionary partnership between Baron Philippe de Rothschild of Château Mouton Rothschild in Bordeaux and Robert Mondavi, a pioneering vintner from Napa Valley. Their collaboration aimed to create a singular wine that melded the traditions of both the Old and New Worlds.
